July 30, 2006 NY Times
By conservative estimates 100,000 people marched on the central plaza in Mexico City to protest the general election held on July 2,2006. Supporters of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the leftist candidate opposing Vincente Fox's partymate Felipe Calderón, are calling for a vote recount in an election in which Calderón is said to have won by 243,000 votes out of 41 million votes cast. By their estimates the crowd numbered 1.2 million people, one of the largest in the history of Mexico.
Greg Palast, reporter at The Guardian, in a more sinister article implicates the company responsible for disenfranchising thousands of voters in the 2000 Florida election-ChoicePoint Inc. of Alpharetta, Georgia. See article links here

Robert Kennedy Jr. writes about the voting irregularities that occurred during the 2004 election. Kennedy focuses on the incidents that took place before, after and during the Ohio election. From the direct involvement of State government officials to the indirect involvement of the Federal Government (Attorney General Ashcroft) in disenfranchisement of voters Kennedy covers it all (with footnotes-208 in total!).
